New to the
Stagestruck staff, Jenny is excited to begin teaching this
fall. She graduated with a B.A. in theater/dance from
Muhlenberg College (Allentown, PA). Upon graduating,
Jenny spent a year on the National Tour of 42nd Street
where she understudied the leading role of Peggy Sawyer, as
well as performed in the ensemble. From there she
spent time in Wisconsin performing at Broadway in the
Dells in a Broadway revue-type show. She was an
Irene Ryan Nominee for her roles in Into the Woods
(Little Red) and On the Town (Hildy) and was seen in
productions of Dames At Sea (Joan), George M!
(Josie), and the world premiere musical Once Upon a Time
in New Jersey where she was a working understudy for
two-time Tony Award nominee Crista Moore. Jenny has
worked with many New York choreographers including Germaine
Salsburg, Randy Skinner, Rick Conant, and Shelley Oliver.
She continues to dance with the Shelley Oliver Tap
Dancers, a ryhthm tap dance company, and has most
recently become certified by the AFAA to teach group fitness
classes. This year at Stagestruck you can find Jenny
teaching everything from Tap to Jazz/Hip-Hop, Theater Jazz,
Dance Fun, and Adult Dance Cardio. |
